CALL FOR AUDITION
"Take a Seat in Time" by Bakul Negi

The Actors Circle Berlin is happy to invite you to an AUDITION SESSION on SUNDAY MARCH 9 to be part of the cast of the upcoming original full-length play “Take a seat in time” by Bakul Negi. We’re looking to form a cast of 6 international actors to take up the main roles in the play. Other minor roles will be covered separately. The play is to be performed at a Berlin venue for multiple shows around mid-June 2025. Reahearsal in average 1x week. Please consider these general dates before applying.

Important information

Here are some info about the production and the casting process itself.

  • The audition takes place on a single session on Sunday March 9 at 800A Berlin. Start time: 2 pm.
  • At the Audition you will be asked to read some excerpts of the play and possibly switch between different characters to evaluate things. No other preparation is necessary.
  • This audition is meant for expert actors, having been part of previous productions at Instant Theatre Berlin or The Actors Circle Berlin will be a plus.
  • The genre of the play is fantasy/fantastic. The play explores love, loss and the weight of unfinished conversations. Dancing or singing skills might be a plus but absolutely not mandatory. Being from India or Indian descent might also be a plus but the cast will be mixed. The play is in English.
  • Actors will receive a cut from the income from ticket sales for the shows. More details about this soon.
  • Rehearsals are meant to be about 1x week at 800A or elsewhere, most likely on Sunday during the day.
  • The play will be directed by Bakul Negi and she’ll also make the final selection of the cast.
