The Actors Circle Berlin is a spinoff troupe of actors from Instant Theatre Berlin, international Actors* and Actresses from various backgrounds living and acting in Berlin. It’s directed by Alex Casadio and other collaborators depending on projects. Plays are exclusively in English.
We’re now looking for original plays from the Berlin community to bring to the stage in the upcoming months and in 2027. If you’re a playwright, new or experienced, fill out the form to signal your interest.
In the message, send a link to some of your work (only if available, no stress), specify if you live in Berlin (we’d prefer!) drop your email and we’ll contact you to read material, get more info or samples etc. Maybe add a one-liner plot summary of your play, but that’s also optional! Talk soon!
A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS:
– Please only submit your original work or work you own the copyright of.
– Submit only works in English language. Not necessarily Premieres, could also have been represented before in some form, but it should be unpublished work.
– Formats of plays of 30 minutes to maximum 1-hour length are encouraged for first-time collaboration.
– The troupe is amateur so any form of compensation will be most likely symbolic, keep it in mind before submitting.
– If we find your play(s) suitable, we could represent them in winter 2026 or 2027 on a regular-size independent stage in Berlin.
