Instant Theatre presents an intensive summer class aimed at exploring improvisation “in styles”. We’ll create original improvised stories on stage and we’ll learn how to sustain them and make them interesting.

Monday to Friday 6-9PM at Kulturschöpfer.

Improvise in different styles, create long stories on stage

In this full week of improvisation, we’ll focus on the peculiarities of each “style” in order to explore them originally and creatively (movie genres, literary genres, TV formats, drama, comedy and so on).

We’ll work to create deep and solid characters using an acting approach and we’ll learn how to make characters reappear in our stories.

Day 1: characters and status. Introduction to styles.

Day 2: actions, objects, spaces.

Day 3: beginning, development and ending of a story.

Day 4: rhythm, focus and styles.

Day 5: performing long scenes.

This class is suitable for all levels.
